# Terms of Service for Voxia: AI Voice Organizer

## 1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Voxia: AI Voice Organizer ("Voxia," "the App"). By downloading, installing, or using Voxia, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Voxia is developed and operated by Adev, a solo developer.

## 2. Description of Service

Voxia is a voice recording and organization application that provides:

Voice recording and audio storage
- AI-powered transcription of voice recordings
- Smart categorization of recordings (notes, meetings, to-do lists, songs, ideas)
- Task extraction from voice content
- Calendar integration for event creation and reminders
- Search functionality across recordings and transcriptions
- Notification and reminder services

## 3. Account Registration

### Eligibility
- You must be at least 4 years old to use Voxia
- Users under 13 require parental consent
- You must provide accurate account information

### Account Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at support@adevtech.com

## 4. Voice Recording and Consent

### Recording Consent
- By using the voice recording feature, you consent to the recording, storage, and transcription of your voice
- You are responsible for obtaining consent from any other individuals whose voices are captured in your recordings
- Do not record conversations without the knowledge and consent of all parties where required by law

### Legal Compliance
- Voice recording laws vary by jurisdiction
- You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding recording conversations
- In some regions, recording without consent may be illegal—know your local laws

## 5. AI Transcription and Accuracy

### How Voice Processing Works
- Step 1 - Transcription: Your voice recordings are sent to Adev's backend servers where they are transcribed to text. We do NOT send your voice to any third party.
- Step 2 - Categorization: The transcribed text (not audio) is sent to Google Gemini AI for smart categorization and task extraction.

### Experimental Technology
- Voxia uses artificial intelligence for transcription and categorization
- AI transcription is not 100% accurate and may contain errors, misinterpretations, or omissions
- Transcription quality depends on audio clarity, language, accent, background noise, and other factors

### No Guarantee of Accuracy
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated transcriptions
- Do not rely solely on AI transcriptions for critical, legal, medical, or professional purposes
- Always verify important information from original audio recordings

### AI Improvement
- Our AI models are continuously improved using aggregate, anonymized data
- Individual recordings are never manually reviewed by our team
- You retain all rights to your original voice recordings and their transcriptions

## 6. Content Ownership and Rights

### Your Content
- You retain full ownership of all voice recordings, transcriptions, and content you create in Voxia
- You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service
- This license terminates when you delete your content or account

### Prohibited Content
You may not use Voxia to record, store, or transmit:
- Illegal, harmful, or threatening content
- Content that violates intellectual property rights
- Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
- Private or confidential information without authorization
- Spam, malware, or malicious code

## 7. Calendar Integration

### Third-Party Services
- Calendar integration connects to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Microsoft Outlook Calendar
- These services are governed by their own terms of service
- We are not responsible for the functionality, availability, or privacy practices of these third-party services

### Calendar Permissions
- You grant Voxia permission to read and write to your calendar when you enable integration
- We use this access solely to create events and reminders based on your voice recordings
- You can revoke calendar access at any time in your device settings

## 8. Reminders and Notifications

### Notification Services
- You can enable reminders and notifications based on time or location
- We are not liable for missed, delayed, or failed notifications
- Notification delivery depends on device settings, network connectivity, and OS functionality

### No Critical Use
- Do not rely on Voxia reminders for critical time-sensitive tasks (medical appointments, legal deadlines, etc.)
- Use additional reminder systems for important commitments

## 9. Data Privacy and Security

### Data Protection
- We take reasonable measures to protect your data
- However, no system is 100% secure—use Voxia at your own risk
- See our Privacy Policy for detailed information on data handling

### Data Backup
- We recommend regularly exporting your recordings and transcriptions
- While we strive for reliability, data loss may occur due to technical issues
- We are not liable for data loss or corruption

## 10. Fees and Subscriptions

### Free Version
- Voxia offers a free version with basic features
- Free version may have limitations on storage, recording length, or AI features

### Premium Subscription (if applicable)
- Premium features may be offered through in-app subscription
- Subscription pricing and features are displayed in the app
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled 24 hours before the renewal date
- Refunds are handled according to App Store or Google Play Store policies

## 11. Prohibited Uses

You may not:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Record conversations without required consent
- Impersonate others or provide false information
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise the App's security
- Use automated systems (bots) to access the App
- Resell or redistribute the App or its features
- Reverse engineer or decompile the App

## 12. Intellectual Property

### App Ownership
- Voxia, including its code, design, features, and branding, is owned by Adev
- These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App

### Trademarks
- "Voxia" and the Voxia logo are trademarks of Adev
- You may not use our trademarks without written permission

## 13. Disclaimers

### "As Is" Service
Voxia is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service
- Error-free or uninterrupted operation
- Security of data transmission or storage

### AI Limitations
- AI transcription and categorization may be inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect
- We do not warrant the quality or reliability of AI-generated content

## 14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Adev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Voxia in the past 12 months
- We are not liable for data loss, missed reminders, transcription errors, or third-party service failures

## 15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Adev from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of Voxia
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Illegal recording of conversations without consent

## 16. Termination

### By You
- You may stop using Voxia and delete your account at any time
- Use the in-app account deletion feature or contact support@adevtech.com

### By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in prohibited activities
- Required by law or regulation

### Effect of Termination
- Upon termination, your right to use Voxia ceases immediately
- We may delete your data after termination (see Privacy Policy for retention periods)

## 17. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon:
- Posting the updated Terms in the App
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Sending an in-app notification (for material changes)

Continued use of Voxia after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

## 18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.

## 19. Dispute Resolution
